Governor Tamayo advocates for inclusive solutions at NAPC National Sectoral Assembly 2023

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo actively participated in the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) National Sectoral Assembly 2023, held at the Manila Hotel on December 1. The assembly brought together approximately 1,300 community leaders representing the 14 basic sectors from across the nation.

Governor Tamayo, serving as the Vice Chairperson of NAPC for the Government Sector, addressed the assembly, emphasizing the significance of collaboration between government officials and representatives from the basic sectors in addressing poverty-related issues.

"Napaka-importante sa akin na makaharap kayo na nasa basic sector dahil kayo ang tinig upang masiguro na ang solusyon ng problema ng kahirapan ay ating matugunan. Kasama ninyo ang government sector," expressed Gov. Tamayo in his speech.

The assembly served as a platform for community leaders to engage in dialogue and collectively address challenges related to poverty. Governor Tamayo reiterated the commitment of the government sector to work hand in hand with representatives from the basic sectors to develop inclusive solutions.
