Koronadal City gears up for 84th Founding Anniversary, Hinugyaw Festival

As the City of Koronadal approaches its 84th Founding Anniversary, preparations are in full swing for a grand celebration in conjunction with the vibrant Hinugyaw Festival. The festivities will span from January 4 to January 15, showcasing a series of events and activities centered around the theme "Evolving Traditions: Weaving Data into the Cultural Tapestry for the Modern Age."

The theme reflects the city's commitment to embracing modernity while preserving and highlighting its rich cultural heritage. The celebration aims to weave the past, present, and future into a vibrant tapestry that honors tradition and welcomes progress.

The main highlights are scheduled for January 10, which has been declared a Special (non-working) Holiday in Koronadal City by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 416 series of 2023.
