In a bid to bolster economic growth, Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. announced a promising update regarding investment prospects in South Cotabato. Last Monday, March 11, the provincial government warmly received a potential investor from China who expressed keen interest in investing in the province.

Accompanied by his brother, John Paul Tamayo, and their partners in the investment attraction initiative, Governor Tamayo presented compelling investment opportunities in value crops and renewable energy sectors. Discussions were productive, with strategies outlined to incentivize investments, including tax incentives and streamlined facilitation of documentary requirements through the South Cotabato Economic Investment Promotions Center (SCEIPC).

The governor underscored the province's commitment to generating additional employment opportunities for South Cotabateños, expressing gratitude to government colleagues and partners for their collaborative efforts.

"Given our abundant natural resources, the peace and stability in our region, stable political environment in our province, and skilled workforce, we are well-positioned to attract even more investors in the days to come," Governor Tamayo stated in his Facebook page.
