On Monday, October 7, Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., the National President of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), officially filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office in South Cotabato, solidifying his bid for a third term as governor.
Governor Tamayo, who leads the administration party chaired by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., is seeking to continue his leadership and service to the province.
Accompanying Governor Tamayo was his full slate of candidates, who also submitted their COCs for various key positions across the province. The team includes:
- 1st District Congressman: Eduardo Lumayag (Incumbent)
- 2nd District Congressman: Ferdinand L. Hernandez (Former Congressman)
- 3rd District Congressman: Surallah Vice Mayor Antonio Bendita
- Vice Governor: Arthur Dodo Pingoy (Incumbent)
Candidates for Provincial Board Members:
- 1st District:
- Noel Escobillo (Incumbent)
- Nilda Almencion (Incumbent)
- Ruby Hatulan (3-termer councilor from Tupi)
- 2nd District:
- Junette Hurtado (Incumbent)
