The Provincial Government of South Cotabato is gearing up to illuminate the holiday season with the much-anticipated Christmas attractions at the Capitol, set to open on December 1, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Koronadal City.
This year’s decorations will feature an inspiring display of colorful lanterns handcrafted by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) from the South Cotabato Rehabilitation Center, highlighting the province’s dedication to inclusivity and rehabilitation. The vibrant designs will also incorporate the tri-colors of South Cotabato, representing the tri-people of the province and emphasizing its unity in diversity.
Provincial General Services Officer Anne Kasan disclosed that the attractions will be open to the public daily from 6:00 PM to 12:00 midnight, running until January 6, 2025, offering families and visitors a dazzling Christmas spectacle.
The event has become a cherished annual tradition, symbolizing hope, togetherness, and the vibrant spirit of South Cotabateños. Beyond its festive appeal, the displays serves as a testament to the province’s commitment to unity and innovation, highlighting the spirit of cooperation that defines South Cotabato.
