President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. extended his heartfelt condolences to the Tamayo family following the passing of Congressman Reynaldo S. Tamayo Sr. on June 21. Along with his message of sympathy, the President also sent a floral tribute in honor of the late lawmaker.
The Tamayo family expressed their deep gratitude for the President’s thoughtful gesture during this time of mourning. South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. shared that the outpouring of support from government officials and the public has been a source of strength for their family.
"The President’s simple yet sincere gesture means a great deal to us. We truly feel his solidarity in this difficult time," Governor Tamayo said.
Congressman Reynaldo S. Tamayo Sr. was a respected public servant who served as Regional Director of DPWH, Vice Governor of South Cotabato, and most recently, as the representative of the Angat Partylist in the House of Representatives. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 6, at the Holy Trinity Memorial Garden in Tupi.
