Cong. Ferdinand Hernandez Named Deputy Speaker of the 20th Congress

South Cotabato 2nd District Representative Ferdinand “Dinand” L. Hernandez has been appointed as one of the Deputy Speakers of the 20th Congress of the Philippines following the recent reorganization in the House of Representatives under Speaker Bojie Dy.

Rep. Hernandez, a member of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), represents the 2nd District of South Cotabato, which covers Koronadal City, Banga, and Tantangan. As Deputy Speaker, he will help preside over House sessions and assist in managing the legislative business of Congress.

Following his appointment, South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., who also serves as the National President of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, congratulated Hernandez for his new role.

“We are proud of Congressman Ferdinand Hernandez for bringing honor to South Cotabato and to our party. His appointment as Deputy Speaker is a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and public service,” Governor Tamayo said.

Hernandez’s appointment is seen as a recognition of his leadership and commitment to development, giving South Cotabato stronger representation in national decision-making.
