Philhealth XII Conducts Orientation to Graduating Students

IN line with the its universal membership coverage and that of Aquino Health Agenda (AHA), Philhealth XII conducted a series of orientation to the graduating students of 19 colleges and universities in the Region.

This is to inform said students that upon turning 21, all of them will automatically be deleted by the membership database system as one of their parents’ qualified dependents.

“We really encourage them to enroll in the National Health Insurance Program. As webelieve in the academe’s vision mission and commitment of producing quality graduates with values responsive to the needs of the changing time; we, in Philhealth envisions of enrolling well informed members responsible of their role to the country’s leading health care financing institution ,” RVP Ramon F. ARistoza said.

The Public Affairs Unit entrusted to conduct said activity has completed the series of orientation within the first quarter and committed to institutionalize the activity every first quarter of the year.

University of Mindanao Kabacan Campus President Dr. Jesus Antonio G. Derije with the other colleges and university presidents welcome the idea and pledge to support the attainment of Philhealth’s universal coverage and sustainability of advocacy and membership.

“We really hope to have you again in the job’s fair next year,” Derije said.
