Lang Dulay | The National Living Treasure


Lang Dulay is a Gawad Manlilikha ng Bayan Awardee (National Living Treasure Award), the master dream weaver of the T'boli people and T'nalak weaving living master.

Lang Dulay which is awarded the National Living Treasure Award in 1998 by then President Fidel V. Ramos is now on her 90's but still weaves in traditional way the most sought after cultural emblem of the province of South Cotabato - the T'nalak.  


If you want to visit Lang Dulay, dropping by or contacting the Municipal Tourism Office in Poblacion, Lake Sebu  is recommended. Their staffs will be very much willing to give you assistance or guide you to where Lang Dulay can be found- the Manlilikha ng Bayan Center , a training venue that ensures the continuity and preservation of the ancient art of T'boli textile weaving some 15 minutes away from the town center located in Sitio Tukolefa, Lamdalag, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. Roads to the center is not a problem, it can be reached by almost all types of land vehicles.
