More than a hundred investors coming from different parts of the country are expected to gather in Koronadal City next week for the Tourism Investment Conference (Tourism ICON).
It is a two-day event spearheaded by Allah Valley Landscape Development Alliance (AVLDA) with the local government units of South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat and in cooperation with the Mindanao Business Council, Department of Tourism, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of the Interior and Local Government, and the Local Governance Support Program for Local Economic Development.
Different tourism investible projects gathered from the provinces of South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat will be presented by LGU's to invited investors during the Tourism ICON. Some of these includes the proposed mini-hydro power plants in the towns of Tampakan, T'boli and Banga, the proposed bio-mass power plant in the municipality of Norala and the proposed T'boli Village and Seven Falls Theme Park in Lake Sebu.
The Tourism ICON will be held at The Farm in Carpenter Hill in Koronadal City on October 24-26, 2013.
