Through Proclamation No. 695 signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr., Malacañang Palace has declared January 10, 2014 which falls on a Friday, a non-working holiday in the City of Koronadal as the city marks it's 74th Foundation Anniversary and 14th Hinugyaw Festival.
The proclamation was signed, with the authority of the President last December 16, 2013.
Preparations for the said celebration in the City of Koronadal are in full swing. The opening salvo is scheduled this Saturday, January 4.
The week-long Hinugyaw Festival 2014 will feature several activities that includes the Lakambini ng Koronadal beauty pageant, sport events, fun run, drum & lyre competition, trade fairs and the colorful Piyesta Korona among others.
