Buko Halo-halo at Tanokz Chicken Hauz

So yesterday afternoon together with a friend we dropped by at Tanok'z Chicken Hauz along the National Highway in General Santos City to try their Buko Halo-halo for refreshment.

Tanok'z is of course the popular homegrown restaurant from Tupi, South Cotabato known for their chicken inasal or grilled chicken, they have opened a branch here in General Santos City in September last year and has another branch in Polomolok.

I visit Tanok'z Chicken Hauz everytime I crave for grilled chicken but it was only yesterday that I was able to try their Buko Halo-halo. As shown in the pictures, their Buko Halo-Halo has corn kernels and mix kaong (sweet palm) topped with corn chips and scoops of ube-flavored ice cream . There is also ample amount of evaporated milk, sweetened langka (jackfruit), young coconut strips and red beans which blended so well giving the halo-halo its delicious taste.

Again the taste is delicious and very refreshing but I noticed that there is no leche flan which is my favorite of all ingredients of halo-halo in this version by Tanok'z Chicken Hauz.

The Buko Halo-halo at Tanok'z costs P75.00 and is already good for 3-4 persons. Definitely a must-try this summer!
