T'nalak Festival bags 3rd Place in Aliwan Fiesta 2014 Streetdancing Competition

Representing South Cotabato's T'nalak Festival, dancers from Panay National High School in the Municipality of Sto. Niño shined during the Aliwan Fiesta 2014 Streetdancing Competition held last Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Pasay City.

The Panay National High School dancers bagged the 3rd Place in the prestigious event and took home P250,000 as cash prize. The group was the defending champion of the Kadsagayan A Lalan category of South Cotabato's T'nalak Festival Street Dancing Competition.


Dubbed as the "Festival of Champions", Aliwan Fiesta gathers top performers from all over the country for an exhibition and awards top winners a hefty P1 million. This year, the streetdancing competition was participated by a total of 17 groups from all over the country.

Also among the winners was Kalilangan Festival of General Santos City represented by Indak Kabataan Performing Arts Guild of General Santos City National Secondary School of Arts and Trades which was declared as one of the 5 runners-up.


Grand champion for this year's Aliwan Fiesta Streetdancing Competition was Sinulog Festival from Cebu City while 2nd Place went to the Meguyaya Festival of Upi, Maguindanao. Fourth place was the Pamulinawen Festival of Laoag City and fifth place went to Caragan Festival of Mabalacat, Pampanga.
