"It was the biggest political event in the history of the City of Koronadal" said one of Duterte's supporters in the city.
There were also contingents coming from neighboring towns and provinces who showed up to show support to the only presidential candidate from Mindanao in the May 9 elections.
One of the organizers of the rally claimed that over 20,000 Duterte supporters attended the event.
Over 100 cars also joined the "Caravan for Duterte" which started in General Santos City and ended in Koronadal.
