It was a memorable and meaningful night last Wednesday, July 13, 2016 for attendees of Sound of Culture - A Musical Special hosted by the Department of Tourism Regional Office 12 in line with the celebration of South Cotabato's Tnalak Festival and 50th Foundation Anniversary.
Silek Musical Ensemble with their traditional musical instruments entertained the audience gathered at the Protech Center in City of Koronadal as they performed their best hits of original Blaan music.The group with members belonging to Blaan tribe from Tampakan, South Cotabato rendered songs which showcased their tribe's rich culture.
"Silek Musical Ensemble is amazing! I hope to see more of their performances on bigger stage in the future," said one of the spectators during the event.
The group also performed covers of all-time favorites from Asin and Joey Ayala.
