Another South Cotabateña is making her own name in beauty pageants.
Hazel Arbening from Surallah, South Cotabato will be representing the country in the upcoming Miss Planet International pageant to be held in Georgia in Europe this September.
The 25 year-old former SK Kagawad of Brgy. Centrala in Surallah was crowned Miss Planet Philippines 2016 last April.
According to its website, Miss Planet is one of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world. It was established more than 25 years ago in Hollywood, USA and its main objectives includes promotions of the tourism, cultural and historical attractions of the host country and to support the development of friendship and cultural connections between the participants.

In Georgia, Hazel Arbening will compete for the title "Miss Planet International" against atleast 40 candidates from different countries.
