To provide, responsive, efficient and customer centric government services, promote Ease of Doing Business (EOBD) in order to obtain ARTA Seal of Excellence and ensure competitiveness within and among other government.
PhilHealth XII through its Acting Regional Vice President, Marjorie A. Cabrieto initiated a meeting with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) XII Regional Director, Dorecita T. Delima in the City of Koronadal lately.
“As partners in the government service, we would like to strengthen this linkage to get updated with the necessary Rules and Regulations DTI has mandated to government offices in order to serve the public well. We wanted to have all our plans and programs done in line with yours to achieve the government’s goal of providing EOBD,” ARVP Cabrieto said.
She asked about DTI XII’s EOBD Action Plan for PhilHealth XII to attain the ARTA Seal of Excellence.
She also stated that PhilHealth XII is already compliant to ARTA provisions and is already working on the improvement of its facilities for the betterment of its services and for its clients’ satisfaction.
“We are targeting to attain at least one Seal of Excellence for one of our Local Health Insurance Offices,” Field Operations Division Chief, Engr. Eugenio C. Donatos, II added.
Dir. Delima discussed the salient points of the new law and said that DTI was basically tasked to advocate and inform government offices and the public about EOBD specifically the Competitiveness Bureau. “Your office is the first among all other government agencies in Region XII who coordinated with us concerning this. We will be conducting orientation to your office. You may have further queries and issues formally communicated for our proper endorsement to the Head Office,” she stressed.
