9-hour brownout in entire SOCOTECO-1 coverage area this Sunday

Power consumers in South Cotabato and parts of Sultan Kudarat under the coverage of SOCOTECO-1 may need to prepare for a nine-hour power outage this Sunday, April 24, 2022, due to a scheduled maintenance activity.

In a power advisory posted on its Facebook page on April 19, SOCOTECO-1 said that the power interruption will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It said that the maintenance activity will include sub-transmission line right of way clearing, finalization of line inside NGCP - Tacurong for Totalizer No. 2 and ride on activities of NGCP, DOLE-DUVO, Lamsugod SS,TSD and Area 1 & 2 Services.

Socoteco-I covers the municipalities of Tampakan, Tantangan, Banga, Norala, Surallah, Tboli, Sto. Nino and Lake Sebu in South Cotabato, Lutayan town in the Province of Sultan Kudarat and the City of Koronadal.
