Cadet 1CL Krystlenn Ivany Quemado from South Cotabato is class valedictorian of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Bagsik-Diwa” Class of 2022.
Quemado, who hails from Koronadal City, topped the PMA Class of 2022 with 214 graduates composed of 165 males and 49 females.
As class valedictorian, Quemado received the Presidential Saber Award from the Commander-in-Chief, President Rodrigo Duterte. She was also the recipient of the following awards and recognitions: Philippine Navy Saber; Jusmag Saber; Australian Defence Best Overall Performance Award; Spanish Armed Forces Award; Agfo Award; Academic Group Award; Humanities Plaque; Management Plaque; Social Sciences Plaque; and Navy Professional Courses Plaque.
President Rodrigo Duterte also awarded Quemado a house and lot. She received the certificate of ownership during the commencement rites at Fort General Gregorio H. del Pilar in Baguio City on May 15, 2022.
