Still in celebration of their 50th Anniversary, Dolefil (Dole Philippines, Inc) opened a photo exhibition called "The Golden Gallery" yesterday June 24, 2013 at the atrium of SM City General Santos.
The opening was attended by Dolefil employees and officials headed by its Vice President and Managing Director Simon Denye. Among the invited guests include personalities from the local business sector, media, photographers, and some local government officials like outgoing Gensan City Mayor Darlene Antonino-Custodio and 2nd district of South Cotabato Congressman-elect Atty. Ferdinand Hernandez.
Dolefil's "The Golden Gallery" at SM City General Santos retraces 50 years of Dolefil's presence in the Philippines, specifically in Polomolok, South Cotabato. Iconic photos showing major events in the community and shots depicting the early days of Dolefil were on display. There were photos of Dole company founder James Drummond Dole and other significant personalities that has contributed to what Dolefil has become.

In 1978, Dolefil set a world record when it produced a 17.5 pound pineapple.
