South Cotabato governor declares July 18 as a Special Non-Working Holiday

In celebration of the 47th foundation anniversary of South Cotabato as a province and the 14th T'nalak Festival, the Provincial Government of South Cotabato has declared July 18, 2013 as a special non-working holiday.


By virtue of Provincial Proclamation No. 2013 - 01 signed  on July 8, 2013 by South Cotabato Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes, July 18 which falls on a Thursday is declared as a  special non-working holiday in the   10 towns of South Cotabato and the City of Koronadal. The proclamation will give the South Cotabateños the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occassion.

PROVINCIAL PROCLAIMATION NO. 2013-01

DECLARING JULY 18, 2013 AS SPECIAL NON-WORKING 

HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO

WHEREAS, July 18, 2013 marks a very important event for the Province of South Cotabato as it celebrates  its 47th Foundation Anniversary and 14th T'nalak Festival; and 
WHEREAS, to give more meaning and significance to this momentous event , it is just proper and appropriate for South Cotabateños to enjoy and celebrate the gains they had attained for the past 47 years. 
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DAISY P. AVANCE FUENTES, Provincial Governor of the Province of South Cotabato, by virtue of Republic Act No. 9654, approved on July 17, 2009, I hereby proclaim Thursday, July 18, 2013 as Special Non-Working Holiday in the Province of South Cotabato, and urging our constituents to support and participate in this great and momentous occasion. 
Done this 8th day of July 2013 at the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato.
