In case you missed it last week, bloggers from Soccsksargen were among those recognized in the awards night of the Mindanao Blog Awards 2013 held last October 26 in Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City
The Walking Eyes by Gensan photographer and blogger Van Almeria bested other finalists and was named Best Photo Blog by the Mindanao Blog Awards 2013 while The Orthopedic Logbook of Dr. Remo Aguilar an orthopedic surgeon from Tacurong City was adjudged Best Business, Finance and Career Blog.
Doc Remo's Tacurong City Online and Hiker's Itch were also finalists in the Best Gateway and Community Blog and Best Travel Blog categories respectively.
Avel Manansala who blogs at Gensantos.Com and leads the SOCCSKSARGEN Bloggers was awarded Best Social Media Mover. Meanwhile, Nanardxz who owns I Love South Cotabato, a finalist in the Best Gateway and Community Blog was named 2013 SOCCSKSARGEN Blogger of the Year. His other blog "Nanardxz from the South" was also a finalist in the Best Travel Blog category.
