The City of Korondal will attempt to set new records for the largest parade of motorcycles, most engines started simultaneously and most motorcycle horns sounded simultaneously with more than 2,500 riders from over 100 motorcycle clubs all over the country expected to participate.

“We’re hosting the event to help tourism, to project not only the city of Koronadal but the entire region. At the same time, we want to showcase the entire Mindanao as a good place to ride in, live in and do business in,” said Koronadal City Mayor Peter Miguel in an interview.

Participants of Koronadal Motorcycle Festival especially those who are not from South Cotabato and neighboring places are also expected to visit different tourist attractions in the region.

Other activities of Koronadal Motorcycle Festival are conferences, symposia on road courtesies and traffic regulations, skills trainings and other capacity building seminar-workshops for thousands of local motorists (motorcycle, tricycle & habal-habal drivers, etc.) from Koronadal and the whole of SOCCSKSARGEN Region.

The city government is also inviting photography enthusiasts to join the Koronadal Motorcycle Festival Photography Competition.
