More than 2000 indigent residents of General Santos City have availed of the free medical and dental services conducted by SM Foundation last July 25-26,2018 at SM City General Santos City.
Dedicated to saving and making lives better for the less fortunate people in General Santos City, SMFI the official SM Supermalls Foundation, organized this yearly medical and dental mission that focuses on communities with limited access to basic healthcare. The activity was in line with the SM Foundation’s Health Program.
Services rendered range from medical and laboratory consultations to dental check-up, and tooth extraction. The recipients also received prescription medicines for free.
The activity was carried out by SMFI and SM City General Santos in coordination with Philippine Medical Association – Gensan Chapter, City Health Office-Dental Department, Watsons, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University – Nursing Department, City Social Welfare Development, Kiwanis Club International, and Philippine National Police.
SM Foundation has been assisting communities with medical/dental, diagnostics, and livelihood services. To date, thousands of beneficiaries have availed of these charitable and similar social outreach programs of the company.
