Students of Philippine Science High School- SOCCSKSARGEN Campus in Koronadal City shine in the recently held 7th ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey held at Universiti Putra Malaysia from July 29 to August 4, 2018.
The team of Rhoane Gale Bermudo, Kristen Pauline Gador, and Jonyle Suriaga which represented the Philippines was declared over-all champion. They bested other teams of student-competitors from different countries who competed with them in three modules of the competition - Great Science Ideas, Great Science Quest, and Great Science Pitch.
The team from Malaysia and South Korea were declared second and third place, respectively.
The ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey is an annual science competition participated by Asean countries, and three other non-Asean member countries.
