Power consumers in South Cotabato and parts of Sultan Kudarat under the coverage of SOCOTECO-1 may need to prepare for a nine-hour power outage on Saturday, March 23, due to a scheduled maintenance activity.
In a power advisory posted on its Facebook page on March 12, SOCOTECO-1 said that the power interruption will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It said that the maintenance activity will include energization/ connection of conductor from existing to the newly constructed 69kV Subtransmission along Brgy. Magon in Tantangan.
Socoteco-I covers the municipalities of Tampakan, Tantangan, Banga, Norala, Surallah, Tboli, Sto. Nino and Lake Sebu in South Cotabato, Lutayan town in the Province of Sultan Kudarat and the City of Koronadal.
