In the municipality of Polomolok, incumbent mayor Honey Lumayag-Matti of PDP-Laban is being challenged by Engr. Bernie "Jojo" Palencia who is running under the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL). While in the vice mayoralty race, councilor Xavier Bayan of PDP-Laban will go against Gay Orbesido of KBL.
