Success Story: Five former Kabugwason scholars passes Bar exam

During the Monday Convocation Program on February 26, 2024 at the Provincial Capitol., the Provincial Government of South Cotabato proudly congratulates five (5) former Kabugwason scholars who have successfully passed the September 2023 Bar exam and are now lawyers. Atty. Kaye Cristelle Lavente, Atty. Ernie Lumbu-an Jr., Atty. Rhona Fae Directo, Atty. Jhun Miranda, and Atty. Jasper Kent Perez, recipients of the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program, have demonstrated remarkable dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence.

"These individuals are living proof that here in South Cotabato, poverty is not a hindrance to achieving one's dreams. Your perseverance and struggles to finish your studies and pass the Bar Exam are truly admirable. May you inspire many more, especially other Kabugwason scholars," remarked Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr.
