Governor Tamayo's Partido Federal ng Pilipinas forge alliance with Lakas-CMD


President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over a landmark occasion as the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) formalized their alliance in a signing ceremony held at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City, Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

Dubbed 'Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas,' the pact symbolizes a collective pledge towards a brighter future for the Filipino people. Both parties demonstrated steadfast commitment to collaborative endeavors aimed at advancing the welfare and prosperity of the nation.

"This day epitomizes our enduring unity in supporting the administration of our President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. Through our unity, we are confident of overcoming any challenges we encounter," expressed PFP President and South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr.

Lakas-CMD President and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez echoed similar sentiments, asserting, "This document goes beyond symbolism; it is a covenant with our citizens—a commitment to uplift and unite. This alliance showcases how cooperation can translate into tangible, impactful change."

Signatories of the agreement include House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe, Senator Ramon Revilla Jr., House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr., Special Assistant to the President Antonio Lagdameo Jr., and House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander Marcos.

In his address, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized the administration's accomplishments in implementing a whole-of-government approach, highlighting how the coalition of parties would expedite the execution of projects and policies for the benefit of all Filipinos.

In an interview, PFP President Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. assured the public of PFP's continued dedication to serving the people even beyond the 2025 elections.
