The Province of South Cotabato has once again been honored for its exceptional commitment to Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) at the 2nd Gawad Edukampyon for Local Governance 2023 Awards Ceremony held last Saturday, May 4, 2024. In the Province Category, South Cotabato has been distinguished as one of the winners for ECCD, marking its second consecutive year of receiving this prestigious award.
"This recognition speaks volumes about our dedication to ensuring the well-being and holistic development of our children. It's a testament to the hard work and commitment of our Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and other offices in implementing ECCD programs across our province," remarked South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. in a statement posted on his Facebook page.
As a staunch advocate for children's rights, Governor Tamayo reaffirmed the province's commitment to supporting ECCD programs at the provincial level. "Every child deserves responsive and effective services, and we will continue to strive for their betterment," he emphasized.
