South Cotabato ranks 3rd richest province in Mindanao, reports BLGF

South Cotabato has been ranked as the third-richest province in Mindanao according to the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) report on Locally-Sourced Income of Local Government Units (LGUs). 

The report places Bukidnon at the top of the list with P1.034 billion, followed by Davao de Oro with P838 million. South Cotabato's impressive performance solidifies its position as a leading province in terms of economic development. Other provinces included in the ranking are Cotabato, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Davao Oriental, Agusan del Sur, Davao del Norte, and Davao del Sur.

Governor Tamayo expressed pride in this recognition but emphasized that the work does not stop here. "This achievement is a testament to our collective efforts in boosting the province's economy and improving the quality of life for our residents. However, we will not rest on our laurels. We will continue to strive for more economic development in South Cotabato," he stated.
