Governor Tamayo joins President Marcos, other political leaders at Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas Convention 2024


Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) President and South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. attended the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas Convention 2024 on Thursday, September 26, at the PICC Forum. The event showcased the unity of key political leaders determined to drive the nation’s progress forward.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of the “Manifesto of Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas,” a significant document representing the commitment of various political parties to work together for national development. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. personally witnessed the signing, which involved key leaders such as Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza of the Nationalist Peoples Coalition (NPC), House Speaker Martin Romualdez of Lakas-CMD, Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Senator Mark Villar of the Nacionalista Party (NP), and Representative Luis Raymund Villafuerte of the National Unity Party (NUP).

In addition to this historic signing, President Marcos introduced the administration’s senatorial slate for the 2025 midterm elections, composed of prominent figures such as Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati Mayor Abigail Binay, Senators Pia Cayetano, Lito Lapid, Imee Marcos, Bong Revilla, Francis Tolentino, former Senators Ping Lacson, Manny Pacquiao, Tito Sotto, and Representatives Erwin Tulfo and Camille Villar.

Furthermore, the convention featured the oath-taking of former Senator Manny Pacquiao and Senator Francis Tolentino as new members of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP). Their oath was administered by PFP Chairman President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., symbolizing their alignment with the party’s mission and vision for the country.

Governor Tamayo, as a key leader of the PFP, expressed his gratitude and optimism about the direction the party and its partners are taking under the strong leadership of President Marcos and their commitment to the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.

The event marks another step toward strengthening the political landscape, with Governor Tamayo affirming that Partido Federal ng Pilipinas will remain at the forefront of advocating for programs that benefit the Filipino people.
