Several influential leaders from Maguindanao del Norte have officially joined the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP). The oath-taking ceremony, administered by PFP President and South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr., welcomed Datu Odin Sinsuat Mayor Datu Lester Sinsuat and his wife, One Maguindanao Vice Governor Bai Ainee Sinsuat. Other prominent figures who joined the party included Sultan Kudarat Municipal Mayor Datu Tucao Mastura, Cotabato City Mayor Bruce Matabalao, Sultan Kudarat Municipal Vice Mayor Shameem Mastura, former Sultan Mastura Mayor Datu Mando Mastura, MP Ishak Mastura, and Board Member Sharifudin Mastura.
Governor Tamayo expressed his appreciation for their trust and commitment to the party, stating, "Tayo'y lubos na nagpapasalamat sa kanilang pakikiisa at tiwala."
This event comes after the mass oath-taking ceremony last August 12, where nine mayors, vice mayors, and Sangguniang Panlalawigan members from Maguindanao del Norte also joined the PFP in Koronadal City. The ceremony was attended by Maguindanao del Norte Governor Abdulraof Macacua, Vice Governor Abdulnasser Abas, and Cotabato City Mayor Bruce Matabalao, who all expressed their support for the newly inducted PFP members.
With Maguindanao del Norte comprising twelve municipalities—Parang, Buldon, Barira, Matanog, Upi, Kabuntalan, Northern Kabuntalan, Sultan Mastura, Talitay, Sultan Kudarat, Datu Odin Sinsuat, and Datu Blah T. Sinsuat—a majority of local officials in the area are now aligned with the PFP, strengthening the party’s influence in the region.
The growing political alliance in Maguindanao del Norte highlights the PFP's expanding base as it prepares for the upcoming elections, further positioning itself as a key political force in Mindanao.
