Governor Tamayo signs alliance agreement with People's Champ Movement

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., in his capacity as President of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), led the signing of an alliance agreement between PFP and the People’s Champ Movement (PCM) on September 28 at Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City. This strategic collaboration, part of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, aims to strengthen governance and promote cohesive development in Sarangani Province and General Santos City.

Governor Tamayo emphasized the importance of this partnership in reinforcing the political unity of both parties to achieve shared goals for progress. His leadership in forging this alliance reinforces his commitment to further strong local governance in Mindanao. Tamayo’s influence extends beyond South Cotabato, positioning PFP as a key player in shaping regional development.

As part of the agreement, Governor Ruel Pacquiao was authorized to sign the Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA) for Sarangani's provincial slate under PFP, which solidifies his role in leading Sarangani’s development efforts. PCM President Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao will sign the CONA for all mayors and vice mayors of Sarangani, alongside PCM Secretary General Mayor Tessa Constantino for all municipal councilors.

Governor Tamayo also confirmed that PFP would not field candidates in General Santos City, instead pledging full support for Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao and the PCM slate.

Governor Tamayo's vision of unified governance and his strategic alliances are expected to enhance the local governance framework and accelerate growth in the region. His leadership in forming these partnerships highlights his continued efforts to bring about significant, transformative change not only in South Cotabato but to neighboring areas as well.
