Governor Tamayo leads oath-taking of new PFP members in Eastern Samar

South Cotabato Governor and Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) National President Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. led the oath-taking of new PFP members held on August 30, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol Gym in Borongan City.

The event was hosted by Eastern Samar Governor Ben P. Evardone, who warmly welcomed the PFP members and assured his province's unwavering support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his administration. In his speech, Governor Evardone committed Eastern Samar’s full backing to the President's programs, policies, and vision for the country.

"I can assure you, Mr. President, that the people of Eastern Samar and our province, in particular, will fully support the programs, policies, and directions of the President," said Governor Evardone. "One hundred percent of Eastern Samar supports his leadership and his administration. It is an honor for us to be part of the Bagong Pilipinas alliance, especially within the Partido Federal."

The ceremony was attended by other notable national and regional figures, including Engr. Edgardo Acaba, PFP National Auditor and Region 8 Chairman; House Minority Leader and 4Ps Partylist Representative Cong. Marcelino C. Libanan; Vice Governor Maricar S. Goteesan; as well as incumbent and aspirant mayors, Sangguniang Bayan members, ABC Presidents, Barangay Captains, and SK Federated Presidents from various municipalities in Eastern Samar.

Governor Tamayo emphasized the PFP's ultimate goal of establishing a federal form of government, aligning with the vision set forth by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., the party's national chairman.
