Koronadal City Mayor Atty. Eliordo Ogena has officially joined the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), further strengthening his alliance with South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., the party’s national president. Mayor Ogena took his oath as a PFP member Wednesday, September 4 in his office at the Koronadal City Hall.
In a Facebook post, Governor Tamayo expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for Mayor Ogena’s decision to join the party, marking a milestone in the relationship between the city and the province. "For the first time in a long while, the leadership of Koronadal City and the Province of South Cotabato is working harmoniously. We are united, and we will continue to work together," Tamayo stated.
Governor Tamayo also highlighted the shared vision for Koronadal's progress and development, noting that the partnership with Mayor Ogena is expected to result in more aligned projects and programs that will benefit both the city and the province. "At tayo'y masaya at lubos na nagpapasalamat sa kanyang tiwala at pakikiisa sa atin, at sa partido ng ating mahal na Pangulo Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. Atin ding inaasahan na susunod narin ang iba pang mga opisyal ng syudad sa mga darating na araw," he added.
The governor emphasized that this partnership would ensure the continuous delivery of proper and effective services for the people of Koronadal, underlining the PFP's commitment to making the city’s future brighter. "Para sa Bagong Koronadal, ating tinitiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na tama at maayos na serbisyo," Governor Tamayo assured.
