In a recent statement, Gov. Tamayo challenged citizens to be proactive in making a difference:
“Maging parte tayo ng solusyon. Iwasan nating maging miyembro ng komunidad na reklamo nang reklamo ngunit ayaw namang maging bahagi ng solusyon.” (Let us be part of the solution. Let’s not be a community that complains endlessly but refuses to take action.)
The governor’s call to action highlights the importance of unity, responsibility, and active participation in governance. As the provincial government continues to roll out initiatives in infrastructure, livelihood, healthcare, and education, he reminded everyone that positive change is a shared responsibility.
"Progress doesn’t happen through complaints alone. It happens when people come together, take action, and contribute in whatever way they can," Tamayo said. "Even the smallest effort can make a big impact when we work as one."
His statement has gained widespread support from local leaders, organizations, and concerned citizens, reinforcing the need for a solutions-driven mindset in South Cotabato.
Gov. Tamayo remains committed to fostering a culture of engagement and accountability, encouraging everyone to be active participants in the province’s growth and development.
