Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., National President of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), emphasized the strong partnership between UBJP and PFP, highlighting their shared mission for peace, inclusive development, and effective leadership.
“Ang laban ng UBJP sa BARMM ay laban na rin namin, at sana ang laban namin ay laban na rin ninyo,” said Governor Tamayo, highlighting the importance of working together for the people’s welfare.
Strengthening Support for BARMM
Governor Tamayo reiterated PFP’s commitment to ensuring UBJP remains a key force in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
“Bilang National President ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, may obligasyon ako sa ating mga kapartido at mga kasama sa Koalisyon natin na mga Partido, at may direktang pinag-usapan ang executive committee na dapat huwag pabayaan ang UBJP sa BARMM,” he stated.
He also stressed that BARMM will continue to thrive under UBJP leadership.
Commitment to Good Governance and Inclusivity
The assembly highlighted the unity between UBJP in South Cotabato and Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, affirming that both organizations share the same direction and vision for governance.
“Ang UBJP dito sa South Cotabato at ang Partido Federal ng Pilipinas ay iisa, nagkakaisa, at iisa dapat ang direksyon na meron tayo. Bibigyan natin ng leksyon ang mga taong di nakikiisa sa mga layuning meron tayo. Na ang layunin meron tayo dito sa ating lalawigan ay dapat wala nang diskriminasyon,” Governor Tamayo asserted.
He further emphasized the provincial government’s efforts in ensuring equality and eliminating discrimination:
“Alam man ng ating mga kababayang Muslim na dito sa South Cotabato, para matanggal ang diskriminasyon, nilibre natin ang hospitalisasyon, pati na ang edukasyon upang makapag-aral ang lahat at mabigyan ng pantay-pantay na oportunidad.”
UBJP Backs PFP Candidates in 2025 Elections
The assembly also served as a renewal of commitment between UBJP and PFP, ensuring a unified front for the upcoming May 2025 elections.
“Dito sa South Cotabato, wala dapat niisa na aalis sa PFP. Sama-sama tayong ipaglaban ang mga adhikain natin,” Governor Tamayo declared.
UBJP leaders pledged their full support for PFP candidates in South Cotabato, vowing to help secure victory for leaders dedicated to good governance and genuine public service.
Also present at the event was former South Cotabato 2nd District Congressman Ferdinand Hernandez, who expressed strong support for unity and programs that benefit the people.
The 1st UBJP General Assembly showcased the growing alliance between UBJP and PFP, proving that their shared vision will continue to drive impactful policies and community-centered initiatives.
