As guest of honor, Governor Tamayo praised the people of Polomolok for their unity, resilience, and continued progress, stressing that these values are key to the town’s success and development.
The governor also mentioned the importance of decentralization and the shift to a federal form of government, explaining that empowering local governments will allow communities like Polomolok to fully harness their potential and deliver faster, more responsive services to the people.
“Ang pagkakaisa ng ating mga kababayan ang tunay na pundasyon ng kaunlaran. Sa pamamagitan ng decentralization at federalism, mas mapapalakas natin ang kakayahan ng mga bayan tulad ng Polomolok upang higit pang umasenso,” Tamayo said.
The Flomlok Festival, a showcase of Polomolok’s rich culture, traditions, and agricultural heritage, will run until September 10, featuring a series of cultural and community activities that highlight the pride and identity of the people of Polomolok.
Governor Tamayo assured the municipal government and its people of the full support of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato in advancing development while preserving Polomolok’s heritage and strengthening the unity of its people.
