Set for release in 2026, the P100 Philippine Festivals Commemorative Coins will highlight 12 major festivals across the country. Each festival will have its own coin design, to be issued monthly throughout the year.
The T’nalak Festival—South Cotabato’s celebration of culture and the iconic T’nalak fabric woven by the Tboli Dreamweavers—will be one of the featured designs, giving national recognition to the province’s heritage and artistry.
The BSP said the festival coin series aims to promote Philippine culture, attract collectors, and boost tourism by showcasing the country’s most colorful celebrations.
Other festivals in the series include Sinulog, Moriones, Pahiyas, Kadayawan, MassKara, and the Giant Lantern Festival, among others.
With this recognition, the T’nalak Festival continues to strengthen South Cotabato’s position on the cultural map, further boosting tourism and showcasing the province’s distinct identity to a wider audience.
