T'nalak Festival 2014 set on July 8-18 | Schedule of Activities

Preparations are on for T'nalak Festival 2014 and the 48th Foundation Anniversary of the Province of South Cotabato happening from July 8-18.

According to organizers, people can expect a grander and more colorful T'nalak Festival 2014. Among the new and exciting events to look forward to this year are concerts with invited celebrities and the volleyball exhibition game between the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles and De La Salle University Lady Spikers.



Just like last year, all of the activities for T'nalak Festival 2014 will be held in the City of Koronadal. In the schedule of activities posted at TnalakFestival.Com, this year's celebration will begin on July 8 with the opening of the Agri Fair and T'nalak Strip. To be followed by the opening of the South Cotabato Regional Industrial, Technology and Trade Expo at the Protech Center on July 9.


An interfaith thanksgiving celebration will be held on July 10 which will be followed by a torch parade and switching on of lights at Alunan Avenue and the opening of the bahay kubo and South Cotabato products display and the food bazaar infront of the South Cotabato Sports Complex.

On morning of July 11, there will be a thematic parade to be followed by T'nalak Festival 2014 Opening Program at South Cotabato Sports Complex. The LGBT Night will be held in the evening.

A duathlon (42K marathon and mountain bike race), motocross competition and the South Cotabato Pop Music Solo Voice Competition are also included in this year's T'nalak Festival events. These will be held on July 12.

Other exciting events in T'nalak Festival 2014 are the T'nalak Fun Run (July 13), Cheerleading Competition (July 14) and the Mindanao HipHop & Team Ballroom Competition (July 15) all to be held at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center. The Mutya ng South Cotabato pageant night will be held on July 16.

Meanwhile, July 17 is Balikbayan Day in the province with various activities being prepared to honor the South Cotabateño "balikbayans". And on July 18, contingents coming from different towns of South Cotabato will participate in the much anticipated T'nalak Festival 2014 Parade and Streetdancing Competition.
