A Simple Act of Hospitality

The Tboli tribe in South Cotabato is best known for their colorful traditional costumes, intricate weaving, bead works and hospitality.

Shown below is one of the elders in a Tboli community we visited in Lake Sebu. The community gladly welcomed our group, offered a house for us to stay and even prepared something for us to eat - boiled camote (sweet potato). Fresh harvest. That was really sweet!
A Simple Act of Hospitality. It is said that Tboli people will always offer
something/ food for their guests.
