Getting to and from General Santos City International Airport has been a problem for passengers without private vehicles. But worry no more, starting June 26, aside from taxi there will be also shuttle vans that will be servicing passengers to and from Gensan Airport.
As indicated above, the first trip from SM City General Santos going to Gensan Airport will be at 5 o'clock in the morning while time of departure from the airport depends on plane arrival time with alloted 20 minutes waiting time after baggage claim. Drop-off points will be at SM City General Santos and Bulaong Bus Terminal.
According to John Tano of Summit Transport & Tours, there will be six (6) brand-new and airconditioned passenger vans that will be available for their soft opening starting June 26 and more units will be added when there is a requirement.
The Gensan Airport Shuttle will be stationed at the Covered Parking Area 1 of SM City General Santos. Fare will be at P150 per person for both SM City General Santos - Gensan Airport and Gensan Airport- SM City routes.
