City of Koronadal, South Cotabato -- All roads lead to the City of Koronadal as it hosts the 2nd Mindanao Young Entrepreneurs Summit this March 5, 2011 at the Fitmart Mall of Marbel Convention Center.
Students from the different colleges and universities and even high schools all through out Mindanao are invited to participate in the one-day event which will feature Entrepreneurs and Scholars discuss topics that center on the theme "Moving Ahead: Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the Future."
Summit chair RJ Sustiguer explains, "The Mindanao Young Entrepreneurs Summit aims to engage the students to explore the alternative path of entrepreneurship to success. Oftentimes, schools and family would teach the conventional wisdom of only looking at employment after graduation as a mode to becoming successful."
The event is organized by the Green Valley College, one of the fastest growing educational institutions in Region 12, in partnership with Singapore-based student organization Aseanpreneur Network, the Manila-based women entrepreneurs organization Network for Enterprising Women, Businessworld and HerWorld. The event has also been endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education.
