The three leading universities in the region have each produced a topnotcher in the latest board exam for teachers.
In the result of the March 2015 Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) released by the Professional Regulation Commission on May 23, 2015, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU), Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) and Mindanao State University - General Santos (MSU- General Santos) have one graduate each who landed in the top ten.
Ian Kim Enriquez Bancaraen from NDDU got 87.60% while Michelle Torres Pereyra from NDMU scored 86.80% to place 4th and 8th respectively among 12,103 out of 44,144 examinees who passed the LET- Elementary Level.
Meanwhile, in LET- Secondary level, May Domingo Mabasa from MSU- General Santos landed in 10th Place along with 6 other examinees with a score of 88.60%. A total of 17,904 out of 56,596 examinees successfully passed the board exam for secondary teachers according to PRC.
