Now on its 6th year, the Tree Growing Festival once again encourages Koronadaleños to volunteer in caring for the environment. Thousands of tree seedlings are once again to be planted in different areas in the city's mountain ranges.

The Tree Growing Festival started in 2011 with more than 130,000 seedlings planted in Roxas Mountain Range.

The celebration also coincides with the birthday of Koronadal City Mayor Peter B. Miguel.
