The victim was identified as 43-year-old Louie Manansala, a resident of Prk. 9-A, Brgy. Poblacion, Tupi, South Cotabato.
According to Polomolok Chief of Police, Lt. Col. Johnny Rick Medel, the victim was driving in the direction of Crossing Palkan when he was suddenly shot multiple times by unidentified suspects, leading to his untimely demise.
Four fired cartridge cases from a .45 caliber pistol were recovered at the crime scene. The victim's possession included ₱11,000 in cash, a cellphone, and his motorcycle.
It was reported that the gunshots were heard on the Facebook live stream for 9 minutes and 6 seconds, during which the victim's motorcycle eventually fell.
Lt. Col. Medel added that this is the first shooting incident this November in the town.
The Polomolok Municipal Police Station is looking into a personal grudge as a possible motive for the shooting.
