South Cotabato shines at the 25th ATOP National Convention and 2024 Pearl Awards

The Provincial Government of South Cotabato successfully hosted the 25th Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) National Convention from October 9 to 12, 2024, welcoming over 1,000 tourism officers from across the country.

At the 2024 Pearl Awards, South Cotabato earned two major honors: 2nd Runner-Up for Best Tourism Souvenirs (Non-Food) for the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and Grand Winner for Best Cultural Festival (Municipal Level) for the Seslong Festival of the Municipality of Tboli.

These awards recognize the province’s efforts in promoting culture and tourism, reinforcing its status as a top destination in the Philippines. The event's success is a testament to the collective hard work of local government units and tourism officers, as well as the support of the ATOP and the Department of Tourism.
